After checking the size guide, size F would be an appropriate size for my height and weight. However, apparently my thighs were too big, as it was not only hard to get them pulled up all the way, but in trying to do so with my left thigh, a run appeared. I hoped that it would not get bigger as it was hidden under my dress but within 10 minutes it was already down past the side of my knee. For specialty hosiery the price is decent, but I would not recommend this for thicker thighs.
Thanks but no
No pantyhose is comfy however aside from being a little tight on the inner thigh these had great support and shaping and didn't cut into my waist at all. I'll continue to wear them post pregnancy for sure.
I bought this product thinking it would provide comfort and space for my growing bump but it is suffocating and way to tight despite the fact that I went up a size! Thyme needs to do a better job at providing elasticity and comfort in their pantyhose as this is extremely uncomfortable for pregnant women. Also work on the sizing and maybe go up a size in order to ensure comfort. No one wants to be squeezed to death while wearing clothing.
I went shopping with my mom back in the summer and she bought me a pair of these in nude and one in black. The black ones showed every little nick, but the nude ones I have worn over and over again. They seem to be able to endure some contact without pulling and only recently (5 months in) have gotten a snare that shows enough (the reason I am back on here to buy another pair). I hand wash them- and always make sure my nails are not sharp or have nicks when I put them on... but thats a no-brainer! I wear mine about once a week for 5-8 hours. They have grown with me from early fall 4.5 months preggo until now.. just past my due date. I'm back on to get another pair for after baby comes as my belly wont go away overnight! The material is mostly smooth- but sometimes my sensitive pregnancy skin gets a little itchy. Overall they feel great, look amazing and work well. Again, I hand wash and air dry them... but thats normal for this kind of product! I feel sorry for the other reviewers that found a whole in their pairs or they snagged right away... again, just make sure your fingernails are smooth when you put them on and you'll be fine! I HIGHLY recommend them!
The panel was comfortable however when I took them out of the package there was a hole in them. I was out of town at a wedding and not able to go out and purchase a new pair. If you buy these maybe take them out in the store and heck for defects before purchasing.
It was so upsetting to put these on thinking they could be part of my "uniform" for what little time so have left at work. I love wearing dresses! By the time I walked to the mirror, they already had a run.
You can expect 3 or 4 wears from these. This is more than a typical pair of pantyhose, but for the price I was disappointed. Mine ripped on the third wear.
