I got the black one.I did not realize the material it was going to come as, its like spandex. It also has a 'sticky' section at the top to help it not slip down, it sticks to your skin. I wore it with jeans to work with a black top. It looks like I am wearing a tank top underneath without the added bulk.
This product rolls up/ down when worn throughout the day. Always have to readjust it so it stays in place. I wouldn't buy this product again or recommend it to anyone. Definitely not worth the price as I could only stand to wear it a couple of times.
I'm currently using the Belly Band to cover the fact that my pants will not do up, and to hold my pants up. I love that I can use it extended all the way or fold it in half when it seems "uncomfortable" on the belly. My only problem with the belly band is that the seam seems to be unraveling on the end that has the sticky edge. However I will continue using it and I will probably end up buying another one, as it is doing exactly what I needed!
I'm so disappointed with the quality of this product as it's been used for a week and is entirely coming apart. The stitching around the silicone/ hem is destroyed. I'm going to ask for a replacement or my money back. Not to mention it took several weeks to ship
This band is perfect for the first weeks of pregnancy when our pants still fit but we have to undo the button. It keeps our pants from falling and feels like wearing a tank top.
It is nice but I think it is too small and can leave you marks in your skin.
Aside from the really bad experience I had in store, I am really disappointed with this item. I started my pregnancy at a size 4-6 and the S/M I bought was way too loose to do anything about my pants problem...all it really did was act as a colour blocking band to wear shorter tops over. It does nothing to help keep up pants or conceal that you've left your button or zipper open a bit. The fabric is really thin and is basically transparent. I found others on the market which were thicker, more supportive AND cheaper... I ended up not using this at all and I'm really disappointed I spent so much money on it...especially after finding better version. On top of this, my experience in store was so awful, dealing with 2 sales associates who had no idea what the promotions were and who seemed to be competing for my sale. I am really bummed about this.
Great support but as soon as I get bigger it'll be useless. It's short and very tight.
I bought this thinking that it was a great idea for my non-maternity jeans. As a plus size momma to be i was worried about the L/XL sizing. I put it on this morning, went on fine. As soon as I sat down or bent over the bottom rolled up right away. My recommendation for Thyme would be to either make the bottom band bigger or make an belly band for extended sizes. I would not recommend this to a a woman who normally wears XL or is XL with hips. I will not be buying this again. I'll just go buy maternity jeans.
From the fit, to stretch, comfort and material, this band has helped me continue to avoid buying maternity pants at 8 months pregnant. Yes, time to time you will have to re-adjust, but small price to pay in my opinion over purchasing new pants! Also rounds out the tummy nice so if you're wearing a tighter fitting top, you don't see that "hole in the belly"
